Position Overview:  Woods Fort Golf Course is seeking a dedicated and experience Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance team and strive to provide top-quality playing conditions.  

Responsibilities:  Manage all Turfgrass maintenance for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice areas.  Develop and execute agronomic programs (fertility, irrigation, pest management.  Oversee daily maintenance operations; supervise scheduling, training, and performance.  Maintain and operate the irrigation system; oversee repair scheduling.  Manage annual budget, equipment maintenance, and supply inventories.  Ensure course aesthetics, playability, and environmental stewardship.  Communicate regularly with ownership and management on course conditions, needs, and project planning including Pro Shop relating to course activities.  General in-house maintenance for entire property as needed.

Qualifications:  Degree or certificate in Turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field preferred.  Minimum 3-5 years of golf course maintenance experience;  supervisory experience strongly preferred.  Missouri Pesticide Applicator's license (or ability to obtain).  Strong understanding of warm and cool season turf management in the Midwest.  Hands on, team oriented leadership style with strong communications skills.
