About the Role
St. James Bay Golf & Pickleball Resort is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Spray Technician to join our Turf & Grounds team. This role is essential to maintaining healthy greens, fairways, and landscaped areas across our 18?hole championship course and resort property.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides according to label requirements
- Maintain accurate application records
- Calibrate and operate sprayers and spreaders
- Monitor turf conditions and report issues promptly
- Assist with general golf course maintenance as needed
- Follow all environmental, state, and resort safety standards
- Studies in turf management
- Prior golf course or landscape spray experience preferred
- Florida pesticide license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Experience operating turf Spray Machinery Ability to work early mornings and outdoors in varying conditions
- Team?oriented attitude and dependable work ethic
