Part-time work, shifts available 7 days a week, 7am-11am. 

Work a minimum of 3 shifts and receive unlimited golf!

POSITION SUMMARY: This position performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work on the golf course under the supervision of the superintendent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:

1. Mowing of Greens, Fairways, Tee Boxes, and Rough
2. Operation of string trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
3. Hand Watering
4. Raking bunkers
5. Blowing Debris
6. Moving tee markers
7. Irrigation repair
8. Fertilizer and chemical applications
9. Other duties may be assigned. *

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:

• Ability to operate riding mowers. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to occasionally squat or bend in order to move cart directional signs or debris from mowing area. Minimal lifting, bending, or twisting required.
• Ability to operate various sizes of chainsaws and/or assist with removal of tree debris
• Ability to pull and easily handle 40lb water hose.
• Ability to walk at a steady pace for up to four hours with frequent breaks. Ability to walk on steep slopes is required. Ability to operate a handheld blower.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Experience preferred but not required.

Physical Demands: The essential functions of the position may require frequent standing, near/far visual acuity, depth perception, field of vision, walking, sitting, repetitive use of both hands and finger dexterity with both hands, reaching overhead, bending over, lifting/carrying of up to50 lbs., and driving a vehicle.  Ability to persevere long periods of exposure to pollen and grass - no severe allergic reactions to dust or pollen
