In addition to our field services, SportsTurf Services also rents out specialized turf equipment to approved clients, providing access to professional-grade tools for seasonal or project-based use.
We are operating on all brand new 2024 equipment.
The company is seeking an individual that has been operating heavy machinery for multiple years. It is not necessary that there is any college or university experience. It is essential that the potential candidate can operate machinery to the highest of standards, ensuring that client's needs are met and expectations are exceeded at all times. This role is not for everybody, as it is currently a part-time role, and would probably be ideal for someone that has flexibility with their current employer or a retired superintendent.
The hourly rate is good at $35 an hour and for this we are looking for a talented individual who is able to problem solve and complete work in a timely fashion. The candidate should have experience of hauling and maneuvering trailers up to 25,000 lbs GVWR and be able to use all of the equipment in the services listed above. The candidate should be a fast but conciencious able to drive long distances and work long hours if needed. This is not a 8 hour a day 9-5 job there are bursts of intense work follwed by downtime.
Candidate needs good comunication skills.
It is not necessary for any formal education, but rather practical experience is key for the potential candidate.
The candidate should also be able to discuss current and further needs with client, be personable, clean and tidy at all times as he is representing the company.
