Oyster Harbors Club is situated on Grand Island, Osterville on the southern shores of Cape Cod, MA. Founded in 1926, Oyster Harbors Club has become synonymous with championship caliber golf and the ultimate summer retreat. The 18 hole championship course is regarded as one of Donald Ross's last original designs and has remained one of New England's best kept secrets. In the Fall of 2024, the Club re-established Ross's original designs with the help of architect Gil Hanse. The enhancement plan included the installation of a new pump house and full golf course irrigation system, finishing with Gil Hanse's master improvement plans. Oyster Harbors Club is looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for golf and its history.
Interns will have the opportunity to work with the Superintendents on an internship program to meet their needs. This program will include but is not limited to the following activities: Course Set-up, Water Management, Mowing/Rolling, Daily Course Maintenance, Opportunity to obtain Massachusetts Pesticides Applicators License, IPM Techniques and Scouting, Equipment Use Management Fertilizer & Pesticides Applications, Irrigation Installation & Repair.

The 140-acre property is located on a secluded private island with vista ocean views. Greens are 100 yr old untouched bent/poa grass type. Fairways are bent/poa/rye mix. Tees are bent/poa mix and rough is bluegrass/fescue/rye/poa mix. Golf holes and property surrounds are low maintenance fine fescue native areas.
