- Oversee and maintain turf and playing conditions to the highest level possible by direction of staff scheduling, landscape management, chemical applications, irrigation management, and special cultural practices. 

- Supervise , coordinate, train, and schedule daily assignments and projects conducted by the golf course staff. 

- Maintain certification in pesticide application by the appropriate regulatory agency. Apply fertilizer and chemicals to the golf course as conditions dictate i.e. fertilizers, applications, top dressing and aerification. 

- Monitor all financial responsibilities including but not limited to daily expenditures, inventory control, purchasing , monthly and quarterly budgeting, and the yearly budgeting process. 

- Oversee golf course equipment maintenance, inventory, and purchasing programs.

- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. - Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. 

- Must possess basic computational ability. 

- Knowledge of computer programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis. - Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary. 

- Knowledge of Golf Operations 

- Must attend the Monthly Board Meeting 

Posses or have ability to obtain within 90 days 

- North Carolina restricted use pesticide commercial applicators license
