Marlborough Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join their team. Working directly with the Superintendent, the assistant superintendent will assist in daily planning, supervision, and implementation of maintenance across all aspects of the golf course. They will also assist with training and supervision of the golf course maintenance staff.
Planning and supervision of greens, tees, and fairways.
Knowledge of golf course set-up.
Staff scheduling, supervision, and training.
Attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills with initiative to resolve.
Pesticide and fertilizer application in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
Marlborough Country Club is a private golf course that accommodates public play on Mondays and Tuesdays. The back nine was originally designed and built in 1922 by Wayne E. Styles. In 1970, Geoffrey Cornish expanded the golf course with what is now the front nine. MCC strives to provide tournament conditions daily for members and their guests.
