The Gardner Municipal Golf Course (GMGC), located in Gardner, MA, is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to fill a full-time year-round working Mechanic role for our municipal 18-hole golf course. Candidate must have experience and strong knowledge of turf equipment repair and maintenance, as well as experience performing regular golf course maintenance duties.
Job Summary (Essential Functions): Serve as the lead staff member in the oversight, maintenance, and repair of golf maintenance equipment. Selected candidates must successfully pass a full background check to gain employment.

Job Tasks/Duties:
Supervises all equipment repairs and scheduled maintenance; communicates any large-impact items to the Superintendent in a timely manner.
Maintains accurate work records for all ordering, inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
Additional tasks assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent.

Located in Gardner, MA (The Chair City), Gardner Golf Course is located nearby in northern Worcester County- 30 minutes north of Worcester along the Route 2 corridor.
Four sets of tees await golfers of all playing abilities. Beginners can shorten the course to a playable 4898 yards or you can challenge yourself and step back to the tips (Par 71, 6131 yards).
Our front nine offers a generous warm-up before heading to the back nine which features a tighter, hillier journey along the shores of Crystal Lake. Both nines feature small, well-protected greens making par on any hole a good score.
