Weed Man is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our new team in Boston. Our Weed Man team is a family of 34 offices totaling over $100 million in revenue spanning across the US. As an Assistant Branch Manager you will be responsible for leading multiple lawn care technicians and managing business operations directly reporting to the Branch Manager. We continue to attract green industry professionals looking for a more rewarding lifestyle-friendly career. We have several owners and operators that began in the green industry as Assistant Golf Course Superintendents and realized the opportunity at Weed Man. Our group is growing 15%+ a year, providing each of these individuals with rapid career advancement into General Manager and Ownership roles.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of technicians that will perform lawn fertilization and weed control services
• Develop future leaders
• Maintain operations equipment
• Manage operations budget
• Meet with prospective and current client base
• Assist with door to door marketing campaign in off-season
• Participate in business planning and budget meetings

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by our coverage provider
• Prior experience in the industry is preferred
• Must pass commercial pesticide applicator exam to apply pesticide
• Occasional nights and weekends
• Basic understanding of computer systems, MS office, and ability to troubleshoot problems
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs. several times each day.
