Role Description
The Director of Golf Course Operations is a full-time, on-site role located in Bossier City, LA. The responsibility of this role includes managing day-to-day golf course operations, overseeing maintenance and care of the golf course, and providing exceptional golf experiences for members. Additional duties include leading golf management initiatives, providing instruction, managing budgets, and ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism. The role also involves overseeing operational staff, planning events, and upholding the quality and reputation of the club.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Golf Instruction to facilitate lessons and enhance player skills.
Experience in Golf Management, including organizing tournaments and overseeing operational staff.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Golf and Golf Course Maintenance.
Skills in Budgeting and financial management for cost-effective operations.
Experience at golf courses and knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Effective leadership and team management abilities.
Strong organizational and communication skills to maintain high service standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience at a managerial level in the golf industry is a plus.
