Cape Cod National Golf Club is seeking a motivated and career-focused Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and develop within a positive, forward-thinking environment. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to grow within a high-standards operation that emphasizes agronomic excellence. The Second Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Superintendent and leadership team to help manage daily golf course maintenance operations and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Mowing operations and daily course presentation
Spraying and chemical applications (fertility, plant protectants, integrated pest management)
Water management
Assisting with crew supervision and training
Safe operation and oversight of modern golf course equipment
Technology & Innovation:
GPS sprayer technology
Robotic mowers and autonomous equipment integration
Cape Cod National Golf Club is a private 18-hole championship golf course located in Brewster, Massachusetts. Founded by John R. Pfeffer and his wife, Linda, Cape Cod National opened its doors for play in 1998.
