DESTINATION FACTS
A semi-private resort with 600 members, Destination Geneva National is home to 54 holes of signature golf by Palmer, Player and Trevino; a new one-acre Himalayas-style putting course; 214 hotel rooms, five restaurants and an on-site marina – all located in historic Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, the state’s most popular vacation town.

THE INTERNSHIP
GN’s Turfgrass Management Internship will cover all aspects of golf course management including daily course set-up, irrigation operation and repairs, routine calibration of spreaders and sprayers, natural/native area management, application of fertilizers and pesticides, turfgrass cultural programs, and various projects.
- Oversee an array of Wisconsin landscapes including woodlands and natural areas; bent/poa greens, tees and fairways; bluegrass rough areas.
- Work on three uniquely designed courses with a Director of Grounds, three
Superintendents and three Assistant Superintendents
- Complete course renovations started in fall 2025 to the Player Course.
- Assist with WPGA tournament and member tournament preparation.
- Employ agronomic and cultural practices throughout the season.
- Enjoy an inspiring company culture at this family-owned and operated facility where leaders work alongside their team.

Currently enrolled in a turf management degree program

1 or more years of golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required
