The Revere Golf Club is a premier 36-hole facility serving upwards of 90,000-95,000 annual rounds across the Lexington and Concord courses. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Golf Course Superintendent to lead all daily maintenance and long-range agronomic programs for the Lexington Course. This role is responsible for delivering consistent playing conditions, managing complex irrigation systems, and executing high-standard overseed and transition programs in alignment with Western Golf Properties’ operational and environmental guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all turfgrass, landscape, and maintenance operations specific to the Lexington Course.
Lead irrigation management end to end, including:
Daily monitoring of water distribution, moisture levels, and system performance.
Troubleshooting and repair of mainlines, lateral lines, Claval valves, heads, and rotors.
Coordination of pump-station operations, central control adjustments, and water-window optimization.
Implementation of water-conservation strategies consistent with regional restrictions and best practices.
Plan, execute, and manage all overseed programs including seed selection, cultural practices, germination monitoring, grow-in schedules, and the full transition back to warm-season turf.
Develop and implement annual fertility, chemical, and cultural maintenance programs tailored to desert climate conditions.
Supervise, train, and evaluate Lexington maintenance staff, ensuring consistent execution of standards and safe work practices.
Partner with the Equipment Manager to maintain proper equipment performance and support preventive-maintenance schedules.
Coordinate closely with the Director of Agronomy to align course-conditioning goals, labor strategies, capital planning, and seasonal priorities.
Maintain accurate documentation of chemical usage, water usage, overseed plans, and cultural-practice logs.
Support major capital projects, irrigation upgrades, and renovation initiatives with planning, vendor relations, and on-site supervision.
Uphold compliance with Nevada pesticide regulations, OSHA safety standards, and environmental-stewardship protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in golf course maintenance, ideally at a high-volume or multi-course facility.
Strong technical background in irrigation management, including pump stations, central control, valve systems, troubleshooting, and efficient water management.
Demonstrated experience in planning and executing overseed and transition programs in warm-season climates.
Nevada pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, organize workflows, and maintain high morale during peak operations.
Experience in budgeting, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
