Position Overview:
The Golf Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing the golf course maintenance equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. You will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents to ensure all equipment is available and functioning at peak performance to support daily operations and course renovation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair and provide all required preventive maintenance on all equipment associated with Course Maintenance Department.
Solely responsible for the quality of cut at the golf facility.
Diagnose and repair a wide variety of golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines
Perform preventive maintenance and service schedules
Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts, and service histories
Order parts and manage shop inventory
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist in training staff on proper equipment use and care
Collaborate with the Superintendent on equipment needs during the renovation process
