Lochinvar Golf Club, located in Houston Texas, is seeking a positive and professional Equipment Manager. The priority of the chosen candidate will be to address any current needs or repairs and develop maintenance scheduling for all grinding and general maintenance.
The Equipment Manager will report to the Golf Course Superintendent, Heath Wisdom.

- Maintenance Budget: Operation: $3 Million / Capital: $500,000 - $1,000,000 per year
- Equipment is a mix of Toro, John Deere, and Smithco. All owned.

Key responsibilities, skills, aptitude, and knowledge:
- Maintenance and repair of all machines and vehicles associated with the Golf Maintenance Department
- Maintain proper parts inventory levels
- Order, maintain and track fuel usage by Golf Course Maintenance
- Work with the Golf Course Superintendent and the maintenance team to provide premium turf conditions.
- Ensure all mowing equipment remains sharp and in optimal working condition.
- Guarantee all equipment is efficient, operable, and available when needed.
- Direct daily work assignments to the assistant equipment technicians and maintains a professional development culture.
- Prepare, recommend, and manage the equipment budget.
- Monitor costs and expenditures, identify variances, and recommend and implement corrective action as necessary.
- Build positive working relationships with equipment staff, grounds crews, leadership, vendors, and other
- Keep the maintenance shop clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Compensation and Benefits:

Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as an Equipment Manager with progressive career pathway
- Certification in automotive repair, diesel engine repair, or similar field
- Strong understanding of turf equipment and the ability to perform high-level repairs
