Woodward Golf and Country Club is one of Alabama’s oldest golf courses. Established in1916, this 18 hole course is tree lined with Bermuda grass greens and fairways. It is not your typical country club surrounded by homes. It is a semi- private course that welcomes members and non-members. It is challenging, affordable and fun.
The Woodward board of directors are committed to making it one of the best courses in the state. Since 2021, the board has invested over $750,000 in course improvements, including a state-of-the-art irrigation system. We believe it is in the best condition since the course was built, and we will continue to look for ways to make it better.
Type – full time, some weekend work is required.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Education preferred – associates degree or higher in agronomy, Turf Grass Maintenance, BA/BS/ Undergraduate.
Two years as a first assistant superintendent or a superintendent.
