Yakima Country Club is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent who has a minimum of 5 years in their current position of Head Superintendent. The club has an operating budget of $1.1M with a crew ranging from 6 in the off season to 15 in season. The club just built new greens in the last 3 years with bent grass. There is an experienced crew in place that will help with understanding more about the club and golf course. Yakima CC is located in Central Washington with an annual rainfall of 9-12 inches. There are 4 seasons here with temps in the summer reaching 100. This position is open for July 1 start date but would work with candidate on availability.
YCC is looking for an experienced Superintendent who is a team player that has good oral and written skills who understands the challenges of the position. It's critical they have good communication skills in working with all other departments within the club. They must be able to recruit a team that can step in the event of a change in the future. This is a good job for someone who would like to settle into a smaller town and club that play 19,000 annual rounds a year.
Yakima Country Club was founded in 1916 and is located in central Washington. The current membership consists of 530 golf and social members. The golf course just recently built new greens 3 years ago with bent grass. There are 4 sets of tees for members to enjoy. The annual budget is $1.1M and has a crew during the season of 15 employees. We are looking for an experienced superintendent who can manage the existing crew who are experienced with the property and enjoy doing their jobs.
