IMA Brookwood Golf Course is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent starting late 2025 or early 2026. Our current Superintendent is retiring after 36 years with our company; 31 as our Superintendent.

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and a “hands-on’ Superintendent that leads by example. You should be easy to work with and pleasant to be around. You should be able to accomplish all tasks with no supervision.

Basically, if you have the course in good shape and/or continuously improve conditions within budget; you will have very little interaction with DOO and Board of Directors.

Essential Job Functions:

A minimum of two years of experience in golf course management and turf cultural practices. Prefer a member of the GCSAA.

Planning, organizing, and directing maintenance personnel in all areas of work on the golf course.

Overseeing a mechanic regarding the repair / maintenance of all equipment for the facility.

Procuring and managing all supplies and materials that are used in the daily operation of the golf course.

Protecting the company’s interest by an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations including course and company policies.

Must be certified and /or licensed for pesticide usage.

Knowledge of irrigation including watering practices, irrigation systems, pumps, wells and automatic controls / drainage.

Train staff on safe operation of golf course equipment and daily care of equipment.

Managing golf course employees including interview, hire, training, and any disciplinary issues as needed.

Control and reduce expenses as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.
