Mt. Hawley Country Club is seeking an individual to take the position of Second Assistant Superintendent.  This position is a great opportunity for those looking to progress their career in golf course maintenance.  The Second Assistant will work closely and learn with the Golf Course Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent in maintaining and managing all aspects of the golf course and grounds.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily tasks and course set-up
• Chemical and Fertilizer Applications
• Irrigation repair and maintenance
• Disease/ Pest scouting and identification
• Working with staff to ensure the course is maintained based on our standards and agronomic plan

• 1 to 2 years of golf course maintenance experience
• Must be able to obtain an Illinois Pesticide Operator's License.
• High School diploma or equivalent
