Nashawtuc Country Club is seeking a summer intern for the 2026 season. This internship provides a hands-on experience to familiarize candidates with the daily duties and operations involved in maintaining a premier golf course. Working closely with our experienced Assistants and Superintendent, you will gain valuable skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in the golf course industry. The responsibilities of this role include water management, project management, course set up, mowing various areas, fertilizing, crew management, and equipment operation. We are looking for a hard-working and punctual candidate who is enthusiastic about learning and growing in a dynamic environment. At NCC, you will work under the guidance of seasoned leaders, ensuring a rewarding and enriching internship experience. On site housing is possible.
A short drive from the city of Boston, the course is set on more than 200 acres of natural New England scenery, transporting you almost immediately from the bustle of everyday life. Presenting a true test for the most skilled players while nimbly accommodating those learning the game, Nashawtuc challenges every aspect of your game and offers up a new perspective each time you play. With five sets of traditional tees and two sets of family tees, the walker-friendly course is easily traversed by golfers of all ages and abilities.As host to one of the longest running professional senior golf events on the PGA Champions Tour, Nashawtuc has been played by many of the game's legends, and it continues to deliver on its championship legacy today. Recognized as one of the finest in the area, the par 72 golf course at Nashawtuc was recently renovated by Rees Jones, Jr. and maintains a reputation for pristine course conditions and immaculately manicured greens.
