Capital Asset Managers are key contributors to the Club Benchmarking (“CB”) team. These individuals are charged with managing, administering, developing and growing the Asset Evaluation component of the COMPASS solution. COMPASS is a key strategic area of company growth, directly tied to our plan to develop a comprehensive long-term financial planning service for the club industry. COMPASS is a core component of a long-term financial plan for a club.
Club Benchmarking will provide thorough hands-on training for the COMPASS asset evaluation process and for proprietary tools used for data capture and reporting.
A fully trained Club Benchmarking Capital Asset Manager will be expected to:
Conduct and eventually lead on-site inspections of a club’s physical
Conduct interviews with the client club’s management team
Document asset inventories according to CB guidelines and
Develop study reports according to CB guidelines and
Open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States within one hour of a major airport
Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30 to 35 weeks a year and possess TSA clearance and a valid driver’s license.
Willing and able to fully engage in the training
Five or more years of experience in the private club industry, preferrable but not required.
Some knowledge of mechanical systems, construction and agronomy
Above-average knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft
Comfortable learning to use new
Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team to meet
Well-developed critical thinking skills and problem-solving
Organized and efficient with the ability to multi-task
Self-motivated and driven to go above and
Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) suitable for communication with senior management, board members and committee
