San Carlos Golf Club is currently seeking a driven, team-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our agronomic team. The Assistant Superintendent will take on leadership responsibility, focusing on daily maintenance scheduling, irrigation management, and chemical and fertilizer applications. Strong leadership skills, time management, and communication skills are a must. Duties will include overseeing a crew of 13 operators, the Second Assistant (Spray Tech), as well as the Irrigation Tech. Other responsibilities will include conducting assessments of turfgrass health, pest management, and the irrigation system alongside the Golf Course Superintendent. The club is also currently in discussion stages of an irrigation renovation as well as a possible regrass in summer of 2026.
Previous Assistant role preferred
Florida RUP license or obtain within 90 days
Rotating weekends with Spray Tech/Irrigation Tech
Ability to work in all South Florida weather conditions

Nestled in the community of San Carlos Park, San Carlos Golf Club is one of the oldest established clubs in Southwest Florida. It was developed in 1971 by the San Carlos Park Community and in 1981 was purchased by local area golfers.
