Wenatchee Golf and Country Club is looking to add to our greens department staff by hiring an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. This position will work with the Superintendent and head assistant to continue a tradition of excellence.
Duties will include Irrigation repair, daily course setup, chemical application and some daily maintenance like mowing, tree work and hand watering depending on the needs of the day. A Degree or certificate in turfgrass or a related field is preferred, and experience in golf course maintenance is required. A strong work ethic and a desire to advance in strongly recommended. The ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed is required.
Wenatchee Golf and Country Club was founded in 1923 and just celebrated its centennial year as a golf club. With a recently remodeled clubhouse and a strong membership we are looking to the future and trying to plan accordingly. Located at the eastern base of the cascade mountains, Wenatchee is an outdoor paradise. Mission Ridge ski resort is just minutes from town and the Columbia river runs right through town. Mountains engulf the landscape offering opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, hunting and anything else you can think of.

WGCC is located in East Wenatchee, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of central Washington State. We truly have all 4 seasons here, from warm, dry summers to enjoy the beautiful Columbia River, to cold snowy winters to enjoy Mission Ridge Ski Area just outside of town. It is a truly unique place to live with ample entertainment for the outdoor enthusiast. The club was founded in 1923 and has had some remodels throughout the years but is a classic Country Club setting with tree lined fairways and fast, difficult putting surfaces. We maintain Poa/Bent greens, with a Perennial Ryegrass Fairways and Tees.
