As Golf Course Superintendent you will lead our grounds team and help restore our historic 18-hole layout. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on course quality, staff development, and long-term planning.

Key Duties
Oversee daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and practice areas.
Develop and implement turf programs: mowing, irrigation, fertilization, aeration, pest control.
Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and irrigation systems.
Monitor turf health and adjust practices for optimal playability.
Collaborate on budget planning and capital improvements.
Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal grounds staff.
Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
Collaborate on modernizing the turf department.
Maintain records of chemical applications and equipment servicing.
Support course redesign, tournament preparation, and long-term planning.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Degree or certification in Turf Management, Agronomy, or Horticulture preferred.
Valid spray license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Experience with turf care, equipment operation, and team leadership.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks where needed.
Located in East Troy, Wisconsin, Lake Beulah Golf Course (formerly Lake Beulah Country Club) was founded in 1920 and is undergoing an exciting transformation. Currently operating as a 9-hole course with over 12,000 annual rounds, we’re actively redeveloping the original back 9 to reopen as a full 18-hole facility in 2026. The course spans 200 acres and features bent grass greens, pond-fed irrigation, a driving range, a pro shop, and a full-service bar and restaurant.
