As Golf Course Superintendent you will lead our grounds team and help restore our historic 18-hole layout. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on course quality, staff development, and long-term planning.

Key Duties

• Oversee daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and practice areas.
• Develop and implement turf programs: mowing, irrigation, fertilization, aeration, pest control.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and irrigation systems.
• Monitor turf health and adjust practices for optimal playability.
• Collaborate on budget planning and capital improvements.
• Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal grounds staff.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate on modernizing the turf department.
• Maintain records of chemical applications and equipment servicing.
• Support course redesign, tournament preparation, and long-term planning. 

   

  Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree or certification in Turf Management, Agronomy, or Horticulture preferred.
  • Valid spray license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience with turf care, equipment operation, and team leadership.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks where needed.
