The most rare and appreciated rounds are those played where one’s partner is nature. On the idyllic Monterey Peninsula are a number of these iconic courses, but here, The Preserve Golf Club stands alone, for ours is set within a 20,000-acre private nature preserve. This Tom Fazio designed 365-acre course is set within rolling oak woodland and savanna against a backdrop featuring The Santa Lucia Mountains, taking into consideration what intricacies the land has to offer in a way that is unrivaled by courses across the region. Players may have incredible privacy while out on a course open year round, but will have the unique opportunity to play alongside wildlife like bobcats, turkey and deer in a place so quiet you can actually hear the ball land. Host to esteemed regional and national qualifiers, with award winning clubhouse and dining, The Preserve manages to maintain competition-level conditions while opening its gates to only a select few.
