We are seeking a new grad or AIT to add to our team. This person will be responsible for: running a crew, hand watering, spraying chemicals in fairways/tees, mowing, and general detail work. This person will work closely with assistant and superintendent to provide the highest quality conditions possible on the course. A person in this position would work five days a week plus a weekend day of their choosing. There will be plenty of on the job training and learning opportunities via expos and field days. We are seeking a positive person with a career oriented mindset willing to be a leader of crew members. A successful person will be a good listener and have an ability to apply learned information in the field as well as input learned information from experience to the team. Our goal for this person is to prepare them for a career in this industry and push them to excel in the field.

Highland Golf and Country Club is private country located in Indianapolis with a 18 hole golf course, pool, and racquet facility. The course was built as it stands in 1919 designed by Willie Park Jr. with assistance from Bill Diddel. The property contains 140 acres with 125 of which are golf course.The course recently made major updates to the practice facility with a new 17,000 sqft. chipping/putting green and new range tee last year, accompanied by a recently built training facility with simulators, heated practice bays and indoor putting green. We have a strong membership of 400 who are eager to improve the golf course as we do around 23,000 rounds of golf per year.
