This position gives the assistant a unique opportunity to be a part of a professional tournament environment, bunker restoration project and be part of the decisions made each and every day on the golf course. The assistant’s primary responsibilities will be to develop as a manager especially in proper moisture management, scouting abilities, team management and improving their eye for detail through quality control. UMCC has prided itself in staying on the leading edge of the ever changing technological landscape, using tools such as GPS Sprayers, Toro Lynx, Playbooks, digital job platforms and much more. UMCC also prides itself in preparing its assistants to become Superintendents at their own pace, having produced 3 Superintendents in the last 5 years. Upper Montclair Country
