The Assistant Superintendent will serve as executive officer for the golf maintenance operation with primary responsibility over day-to-day maintenance operations during open (October through May) and closed seasons (June through September). This is a year-round full-time position. Responsibilities include: golf course setup, staff training and supervision, delegation of key roles and jobs on day-to-day basis, coordination with staff forepeople, supervision of irrigation and spray technicians, record-keeping according to State and Federal law, continuing education, daily meetings with Superintendent to discuss agronomic and golf maintenance plans, and self-management of time and schedule. Work/Life Balance prioritized.
