As an Assistant in Training for Grounds Operations, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the grounds. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks under the guidance of the superintendent, including mowing, renovations, and other operational duties necessary to ensure the grounds are well-kept and visually appealing. You will work closely with the superintendent to learn best practices in grounds maintenance and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals who are looking to start a career in the landscaping or groundskeeping industry and are eager to learn and grow their skills.
The Assistant in Training will gain hands-on experience in a wide range of tasks related to grounds operations. This includes operating mowing equipment, assisting with renovation projects, and carrying out any tasks assigned by the superintendent to maintain the grounds to a high standard. You will be expected to follow instructions carefully, learn quickly, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Opened in 1919, as a 9 hole facility, with the back nine being added in 1988. Recently opened to a semi-private club serving around 400 members. In this past year(2025), renovated most of our bunkers and our signature hole #16. We strive in giving our members, and customers the best experience we can offer to them.
