In this role, you will be exposed to every aspect of golf course maintenance in the mountain west, working closely with the Agronomy Assistant Superintendents, and Golf Course Superintendents. You will gain experience in irrigation management, applying pesticides and fertilizers, and growing your leadership skills.

Must tolerate handling of native Ponderosa forest plant material.

The weather is impeccable with little to no humidity and summer temperatures averaging 85 degrees. Forest Highlands Golf Club initially opened the (1) Canyon course in 1988. The Canyon course has hosted the 1996 USGA Boys Junior Championship, 2006 USGA Mid-Amateur Championship, and the 2009 Canon Cup as well as the 2025 Wyndham Cup. The Canyon course is currently ranked by Golf Digest Magazine as the #2 Course in Arizona and the 123rd ranked course in America. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish the Canyon course plays to a par 71. (2) The Meadow course opened in 1999 and is currently ranked by Golf Digest Magazine as the #8 Course in Arizona. The Meadow course has hosted the 2014 USGA Girls Junior Championship and the 2019 USGA Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. Designed by Tom Weiskopf the golf course plays to a par 72.
