The Senior Assistant Superintendent at Del Paso Country Club reports directly to the Director of Agronomy. The Senior Assistant directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course, practice areas, and clubhouse landscape. Areas of Responsibility: -Assist in the planning and scheduling of agronomic practices -Supervise and train employees on the proper use of all golf course equipment -Aid in personnel management, motivation, and evaluation -Pesticide and fertilizer application, calibration, and record keeping -Operation of all golf course equipment when necessary -Contribute to the maintenance, function, and performance of the irrigation system -Promote sound cultural practices to develop healthy and sustainable turfgras
