Trump National Golf Club is a Jim Fazio design and is located 30 minutes north of NYC in Westchester County. The property consists of an 18 hole golf course, practice facility, clubhouse, 4 clay tennis courts, pool and 16 townhouses. This position is an excellent opportunity for learning and growth within the ever-growing Trump Golf portfolio. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of turf management including: Chemical applications, water management, budgeting, staff management, daily planning and record keeping/reporting. The assistant in training will work closely with the superintendent, assistants, mechanic and a crew of approximately 16 during the season.
The applicant should be self-motivated and have a desire to learn and advance in the turf industry. The prospective intern should be willing to work the necessary hours to produce outstanding conditions and maintain a positive attitude. Must be enrolled in a turf program
