Westborough Country Club is a private, Thomas Bendelow designed 18-hole golf and country club located in the Historic Kirkwood/Webster area of St. Louis, Missouri. Westborough Country Club is currently seeking a full-time 2nd Assistant/Spray Technician to join a well-seasoned turf management team.
In this position, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Director of Agronomy. This position will set you up for advancement within Westborough Country Club and lay a foundation for becoming a First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
2-4 year degree from an accredited institution preferred.
Candidate must be willing to work six days a week, one weekend day and holidays during the golfing season.
Must be able to work within a team environment, communicate effectively with staff management and guests.
Have a strong desire to advance in the golf management profession.
Have experience with pesticide applications, calibration and knowledge of product.
Should possess Missouri Category 3 pesticide applicator license. Or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Ability to perform physical labor at a high level in all weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Ability to assist the Director of Agronomy and Course Superintendent with daily maintenance of golf course and management of staff.
