We are home to one of the region’s best practice ranges, Par 3 Golf Courses, short game areas, and teaching academies, serving players of all ages and abilities.
We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy team and help deliver championship-level playing conditions across our practice facilities, short course, and teaching environments.
Position Summary
The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee and participate in all aspects of golf course maintenance, turf management, and facility upkeep. This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone looking to grow their career in golf course management and be part of a progressive, fast-paced golf operation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily planning and supervision of the maintenance team.
Execute and monitor turf management programs, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
Operate and maintain a variety of turf and landscape equipment.
Help coordinate projects such as aerification, topdressing, and renovation work.
Train and motivate seasonal and full-time staff to maintain high-quality standards.
Manage irrigation scheduling and repairs.
Monitor course conditions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications
Degree, certificate, or coursework in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of golf course maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of turf equipment operation and routine maintenance.
Operate, inspect, and perform light maintenance on turf and landscape equipment.
Understanding of irrigation systems (Toro, Rain Bird, or equivalent).
Missouri Pesticide Applicator License or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a hands-on leadership approach.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.
