Medinah Country Club is seeking motivated interns for the 2026 season as we begin to prepare for the 2026 President's Cup.
Medinah Country Club was designed on 550 acres by Tom Bendelow in 1924 and offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals beginning their careers or seeking career advancement. It is comprised of 54 holes: Course 1 was redesigned by Tom Doak in 2012, Course 2 was reconstructed to bring back Tom Bendelow’s original design intent in 2017, and the championship Course 3 was redesigned by Australian architecture firm OCM and opened in 2024. https://www.ocm.golf/
Course 3, a Top 100 club, has been the site of 6 Major Championships and will host the 2026 President’s Cup. Medinah Country Club offers individuals a unique and exceptional opportunity to work in a learning environment, build a strong career foundation, and offers the opportunity for advancement within the organization.
A partial list of the opportunities Interns will be given:
Gain understanding of chemical/fertilizer program
Spraying
Fertilizing
Equipment repair and maintenance
Staff management
Drainage
Irrigation
Aeration
Educational Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Turfgrass Management Program or similar field of study like Agronomy, Horticulture, etc.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of prior golf course experience is preferred. Excellent work history; previous experience in application of pesticides and fertilizers preferred but not required.

Medinah is unique. Founded by the Shriners of Chicago in 1924 and originally designed by Tom Bendelow, Medinah boasts 3 distinct golf courses laid out over 550 acres and only 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. The Championship Course #3 has hosted a variety of major events and is currently preparing for the 2026 Presidents Cup.
