Lone Palm was founded by George Jenkins, the founder of Publix Super Markets.  The course sits on a 388-acre property with a rich Florida landscape including wildlife, native plants and an abundance of ponds and lakes.  It was designed by Dick Wilson and the course opened in 1964.  It was restored by Steve Smyers in 1995 and again in 2022. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with many aspects of turf management, including irrigation, personnel management, chemical and fertilizer applications, moisture management and working with a team dedicated to excellence.  Job Description:
