Steeped in prestige since 1936, Colonial Country Club is a private, 18-hole championship golf course located adjacent to the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth. Founded by Mr. Marvin Leonard and designed by John Bredemus and Perry Maxwell. Colonial Country Club hosted the 1941 US Open and is host to the longest running annual PGA Tour event at a single host site, currently known as the Charles Schwab Challenge.  The golf course recently underwent a major renovation by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner and is currently undergoing renovations to its clubhouse, maintenance, tennis and practice facilities.
