Belleair Country Club is one of the best Clubs in Central Florida and has a rich history as the Oldest Golf Course in Florida.  It began with six holes in 1897, built alongside Henry Plant’s Belleview Hotel.  It was expanded to 36 holes in 1915 by Donald Ross.  In 2022 Fry Straka Global Golf Course Design, masterfully restored the West Course, elevating it to the 4th Best Private Course in Florida and inside the top 100 Classic Courses in the US.  The East course and practice facility is slated to undergo a major renovation in 2026.
