Naples Grande Golf Club is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. In this role, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Director of Agronomy to oversee and maintain the golf course and clubhouse grounds. Responsibilities will include monitoring course conditions, supervising maintenance activities, implementing turf management programs, and ensuring the course meets high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf course management, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will assist in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules, irrigation systems management, pest control, and turf management practices. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols. The role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in course maintenance.

Candidates for this position should possess a degree or certification in turfgrass management, horticulture, or a related field. Previous experience working on a golf course maintenance team is a suitable alternative and preferred. Knowledge of turfgrass varieties, irrigation systems, and pesticide application is essential. The ability to operate maintenance equipment and work in varying weather conditions is also required.
