We’re seeking a dedicated, hands-on leader to support the maintenance and construction of our golf course. This individual will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure our course is maintained to the highest standards and continues to exceed Member expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the annual maintenance budget and capital plans
Supervise and support the maintenance team in daily operations
Oversee turf care, including putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers
Supervise planting and cultural practices for turf, trees, and ornamental plants
Ensure proper maintenance of construction and maintenance equipment
Assist in procurement of materials, maintaining cost controls
Maintain records and assist with preparation of reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
Provide training and oversight to department team members
Monitor business volumes and adjust plans for productivity and cost-efficiency
Support safe work practices across all functions
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
Pesticide Application License
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs as needed and work in outdoor conditions
Proficient in Microsoft Office
English-speaking skills to effectively communicate with team members and read equipment manuals
Compensation: $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience
This role may involve managing staff such as Mechanic, Irrigation Tech, Equipment Operator, and Greenskeepers. Snow removal coordination may also be required based on season and location.
