Riverchase Country Club, a premier private club located just outside Birmingham in Hoover, Alabama, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Golf Course Superintendent to lead agronomic operations and continue elevating the club’s championship-caliber golf experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomy.
Maintain exceptional playing conditions year-round, with a strong focus on Zoysia turf performance.
Develop and manage budgets, equipment maintenance, and staff training programs.
Collaborate closely with club leadership on capital improvements, project planning, and environmental stewardship.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of agronomy professionals.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent at a high-end facility
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with warm-season turf, especially Zoysiagrass
Proven ability to manage high expectations for playing conditions year-round
Skilled in irrigation systems, turf nutrition, and chemical application
Leadership, communication, and organizational excellence
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred
GCSAA Class A or Assistant Superintendent member in good standing
