Trinity Forest is looking for a Golf Course Equipment Technician to join our team!
Under the direction of the Equipment Manager the Equipment Technician would be assisting in a wide range of jobs that happen in and outside of the shop setting.
Such as, but not limited to: Daily adjusting of cutting units, sharpening of cutting units, manufacture required preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and keeping our equipment fleet in top shape. Could also be directed to the course when help is needed.
We as a club will be hosting The USGA Junior Amateur this July. In saying that, not only do we strive for top conditioning daily for our membership, we are excited to show our club off to the world!
Looking for a driven individual that will buy into the clubs culture and make this a stepping stone for their future career endeavor to becoming an Equipment Manager.
-1-3 years experience with engine repair (small, diesel and gas)
-Prior experience with golf course maintenance equipment helpful but not necessary (will train the right individual)
-Perform and organize routine scheduled maintenance
-Must be able to troubleshoot issues with equipment and repair
-Basic computer knowledge
-Understanding of prioritization of work
-Needs organization skills for tools and parts inventory, machine records, and preventative maintenance plan
-Ability to follow instructions and work with staff
-Required to operate equipment and lift up to 50lbs

Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the championship course at Trinity Forest Golf Club adheres to their design philosophy that traditional, strategic golf is the most rewarding. Built in the Great Trinity Forest and surrounded on its edges by thousands of majestic hardwood trees, the classic links-style course artistically meanders through an open meadow of rolling, rumpled sand recalling the wind swept land of Great Britain or the Northeastern US.
The Club is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Dallas on Great Trinity Forest Way, and the facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, a world-class practice academy, and a short course, all designed by Coore and Crenshaw.
Trinity Forest annually hosts an NCAA invitational tournament and additional high-profile professional and amateur events. The Club is also the home course for SMU’s golf team.
