The Landscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations on landscape areas around the resort, ensuring the successful execution of landscape installations and maintenance projects. This role includes supervising 3-8 crew members, managing schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
•Supervise and lead a team of landscape technicians and laborers
•Operate and maintain landscape equipment
•Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for the day’s work
•Ensure timely completion of projects according to design specifications and quality standards
•Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
•Monitor crew performance and provide training and feedback as needed
•Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
•Maintain job records including time tracking, materials used, and conduct performance reviews.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in horticulture, landscape management, or related field is a plus.
•Minimum of 2–5 years of landscaping experience with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
•Proficient in using landscaping equipment and tools.
•Strong knowledge of plant material, landscape installation, irrigation systems, and construction practices.
•Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
•Valid driver’s license
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
•Capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing physical labor throughout the day.
•Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
