This position is responsible for supervising all golf course maintenance functions on the Arthur Hills Golf Course at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC. Supervise work force of equipment operators, summer laborers, irrigation technicians, spray technicians and mechanics to ensure all of these employees are trained and protected properly for their assigned task. Aide in preparation of annual capital and operating budgets, controlling expenses in order to stay within approved expenditure amounts. Aide in formulating chemical and fertilization programs and synchronizing these programs as much as possible with other Company operated golf course maintenance departments in order to realize expense economics.
