The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for successfully operating the Golf Course Maintenance and Clubhouse Grounds Maintenance Department. The Superintendent works closely with the General Manager and/or Director of Golf Course Maintenance on capital improvement expansion projects and interacts with the Head Golf Professional to maximize the number of rounds of golf played by scheduling maintenance practices around Member play and outings to maximize efficiency, which is essential. Day-to-Day: Train and implement procedures for the Golf Course Maintenance Staff. Perform Chemical and Fertilizer applications. Conduct performance evaluations of the Golf Course Maintenance staff and crew as directed on a timely basis.
