Augusta Country Club, founded in 1899, is a Donald Ross designed, private equity club located in Augusta, GA. The club is very active, averaging roughly 32,000 rounds a year annually and has a several year waiting list. Over the last decade, the club has invested into the golf course with a new irrigation system and pumpstation installed in 2016, Zoysia shortgrass installation and tree removal in 2018 along with a 2022 renovation led by Architect Tripp Davis to include new USGA spec Tifeagle greens, sand capped approaches along with greenside and select fairway bunker redesigns. Future projects will include various capital work consisting of tree plantings, bunker renovation work, driving range redesign and expansion among other various projects campus wide.
