The Nelson Golf and Sports Club located in Irving, Texas is a 440-acre property which consists oftwo 18 hole golf courses, TPC Las Colinas and Cottonwood Valley. The golf courses consist of Bentgrass greens, and Bermudagrass fairways, tees and rough.  Interns will work closely with the superintendents and assistants in order to be exposed to allfacets of our maintenance program. As an intern you will gain experience in calibration/application of chemicals and fertilizers, application of fertilizer/pesticides with GPS equipped sprayers, green’s moisture management, daily course preparation, irrigation repair/scheduling, agronomic philosophies and implementation, logistics in planning/scheduling daily jobs, and routine maintenance.
