High Ridge Country Club is a private country club located in Lantana, Florida. High Ridge provides its members a premier club experience with excellent service and superior amenities. High Ridge is a 18 hole golf course that offers an exceptional golf experience with stunning views. The golf course was renovated in 2010 By Kipp Schulties and is scheduled for renovation in 2026.
High Ridge is known for maintaining exceptional golfing conditions and one of a kind playing experience. Some course and maintenance specifics include:
- 7175 – yard championship course Par 72.
- 18,000 Rounds of golf.
- Fairways, tees, rough are grassed with Celebration Bermuda grass.
- Mini Verde Bermuda grass on the greens.
- New Watertronics pump station August 2023
- HDPE with Toro irrigation, 855s. Switching to two wire in 2026.
- All Toro equipment except for greens walkers.
Position Summary
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn and progress in the industry. The responsibilities include employee scheduling, developing turf and ornamental maintenance programs, scheduling and maintenance of the irrigation system, pesticide applications and record keeping, member relations, fostering a healthy environment within the department, teaching, motivating, coaching and building the maintenance team.

The course will close down summer 2026 for complete renovation allowing the chance to learn and grow with High Ridge or prepare for your next opportunity.
Essential Job Functions
- Working directly with the Superintendent on current and future agronomic programs.
- Oversee day to day maintenance to include: course setup, mowing, raking bunkers, etc.
- Hiring, training and supervising current and new staff.
- Assisting and leading projects around the golf course.
- Gathering and analyzing data, observing and evaluating playing conditions.
- Helping to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Experience, Skills, and Education
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in golf course maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills.
- AS, or Certificate in turfgrass management, or relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Possession or ability to possess a Florida Pesticide License
