As the Assistant Superintendent of a private golf course facility, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the daily oversight and management of the golf course operations. Your leadership skills will be essential in supporting the Superintendent in ensuring that the facility meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with the turf management team to maintain the course in optimal condition, implementing best practices for turf care, irrigation, and equipment maintenance.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in turf management and apply your knowledge to contribute to the overall success of the golf course. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the development and implementation of maintenance programs, supervising course maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effectively coordinating with the grounds crew and other staff members. Bachelor's Degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance
Strong knowledge of turf care practices and irrigation systems
Ability to operate maintenance equipment and perform basic repairs
Leadership skills and the ability to supervise a team
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Understanding of environmental regulations related to golf course maintenance
