Works closely with GCM Key Staff in planning daily tasks, cultural practices, budgeting, and team management.
As a leader, works hand in hand with year-round and seasonal staff in daily setup, maintenance and special projects.
Trains year-round and seasonal staff in the safe operation of all GC equipment.
Application of Fertilizer and Pesticides – to include record keeping and inventory.
Assists in the operation, repair and maintenance GC irrigation and pumping systems. Participates in the daily programming of irrigation cycles and record keeping.
Monitors golf course playing surfaces during the growing season, ensuring proper water, nutrient, and disease prevention levels.
Assists with winter projects, planning and equipment R&M
Assists in construction of Par 3 Short Course – irrigation install and grassing/grow-in.
2 to 4-year degree/certificate in Turfgrass, or related field.
Strong irrigation knowledge, and experience with pump systems, Lynx software, repair/management, daily operation, record keeping and audits.
Pesticide and Fertilizer application. Minimum of 2-3 years Golf Course Maintenance experience.
Grow-in experience a plus
Spanish speaking a plus
55-60 hours/6 days a week in season. Approx 30 hours/4 days per week off season.
